Psychiatrist, Systemic and Integrative Psychotherapist.

President of the Family Therapy Association of Uruguay and representative of Fundación Aiglé in Uruguay. In continuous search and curiosity about the psychotherapeutic factors that promote psychic change in people, families and communities. This has led him to be interested in epistemological studies, systemic, cognitive, corporal, experiential and trauma psychotherapies.

He is dedicated to teaching psychotherapy at the Universidad de la República, in programs of the Ministry of Social Development and in alternative programs of Secondary schools and Community Classrooms. He has also participated in teaching expressive training programs in photography workshops in NGOs and in participatory pedagogy programs in disadvantaged communities with the Audiovisual Creative Workshops program, with the support of UNICEF.

From the Vilardebó Hospital Sub Directorate, he is currently trying to implement the inclusion of the Open Dialog Model in Uruguay, in the context of a new Mental Health law with emphasis on Human Rights and the Recovery Model.
